Never like firing a coqch midseason. Most of the coaches that are available no one wants and the ones that people want are not yet available.

Dozens of transfers, a phenomenally awful team, and NCAA investigation.... this may be a case of addition by subtraction.

We need Anthony Grant. That is who the basketball gods needs to give us. Our current interim coach was part of the staff that got fired so not sure what difference he will make.

Same here with the midseason firing but with his two top recruits never making it to campus and JMM leaving, just looks like COA wasn't meant to be here. Cut him loose for his sake rather than a dead man walking ... and I wouldn't think we'd be hiring until after the seasons are over.

The staff wasn't fired .... yet. CMB is such a late arrival that he shouldn't have any stigma attached to him and the next few months should be a nice audition.

Yeah I honestly wasn't sure what to take from the news but I trust our AD. It's his guy so the fact he did this lets everyone know he was serious about seeing marked improvement. I am more excited to watch a MBB game now and see what CMB does, if anything. Only thing I'm concerned about is the culture of the locker room. Is that something he can change or are we looking at more defections?

LOL ... Vega has pretty much abandoned TBP, and the Bulls, once it apparently, finally sunk in that the problem wasn't Stan, but USF.
