I have to admit that I don't get the point of this at all.

EVERY conference champ gets in, that accounts for 10 spots. Winning your conference has meaning. Two wild-card spots, because it doesn't mean EVERYthing

NCG the Saturday after 1/14/2017 at a neutral site

School starts back up the week of the 16th for most schools

Can't get to 10, 12 or 16 team playoffs

without enticing FBS w/ a 8 team playoff

The P5 has to be fed in every decision:

That's why a 8 team (5/2/1) system is the best! It allows more P5 participation w/ a bone to the G5. Once this is set up for a few years, then we can start talking 10 or 16 teams

Yea their responsibility is to battle for glory & immortality in coliseum of the football stadium.

And maybe pass a few classes if they have time

2. WKU

3. Temple

4. San Diego State

WKU would be the favorite in the NCAADIV2CWITP5C

Keep dreaming college football presidents will not allow a 16 team playoff in our lifetime.

yeah, that's why we need to incorporate many of the already useless bowls;

 

also, they expanded the regular season in the 90s... Cut it back to accommodate an 8 (5/2/1) then maybe move to a 16 team in the future.

 

Also, FCS does this just fine (and that includes some Ivy league schools)
