Kinda makes you wonder if our 7-1 close to the season wasnt reflective of playing teams on a downward spiral

There's nothing to be learned from Bowl Games, outside of the really major ones.  There were years when the Big East did really well against other conferences in the post season and it gained the

USF was 5th in the AAC vs WKU 1st in CUSA. Temple was 3rd in the AAC based on record, and lost to Toledo who had the best record in the MAC. Connecticut was tied for 7th, lost a tight match to Marshal

The bowls themselves, outside the playoffs, are pretty much meaningless .... not qualifying for one is very meaningful.

For a conference that is trying to build it's brand, this bowl season has been, and will likely continue to be, an embarrassment. 0-2 vs. CUSA? 0-1 vs. the MAC? AAC could very well go winless. Navy beating Pitt looks like our best chance. Houston can definitely help save face by beating FSU, but this doesn't look good at all so far. Puts things in perspective I suppose. Looking like CUSA II right now.
