Yes, but Toledo out played them all game. Still needed to recover the ball, score a TD and then go for 2 just to tie.

There's nothing to be learned from Bowl Games, outside of the really major ones.  There were years when the Big East did really well against other conferences in the post season and it gained the

USF was 5th in the AAC vs WKU 1st in CUSA. Temple was 3rd in the AAC based on record, and lost to Toledo who had the best record in the MAC. Connecticut was tied for 7th, lost a tight match to Marshal

After our loss I really don't mind Temple losing. Yes, I know about conference perception but if we are going down this bowl season I am taking a few teams with me.

This .... To me, if you're going to try to tout or dis a conference, do it based on regular season games. Games played that actually mean something.

Lots of folks compare how good or bad a conference is based on how the teams do against other conferences...  But I love the sarcasm
