You do realize that we've won 6 of our last 7 games when CWT finally opened up the offense, right?  It may well end up being 7 of our last 8, or even 8 of our last 9.

You'd want to cast that aside in 2016 if AW might "look good" in a few practices?

No. I'd want to cast that aside if AW is better than QF.

Not sure you mess with our skilled positions specially if we win out this year. Have some packages for AW if he looks that good in practice but unless QF regresses next year, you have to go with QF

No. I'd want to cast that aside if AW is better than QF.

But the only way to find that out is to bench a proven, winning QB.

Personally, I hope AW doesn't play a down for us the next two years because QF keeps improving.

So every starter on the team right now can never lose their job? Or just QF?

Correct.  Because every position on the team is exactly like the QB position.

Why shouldn't they be? If player A is better than player B, he should start. I don't see how QB is different.

How exactly would that be determined in practice?

Everyone agrees that the best player should play but Flowers has a tremendous edge because he is an awesome player right now in games.  Woulard was an awesome player in a 7 on 7 a few years ago.

It is not like we will ever compare apples to apples unless Flowers gets hurt at some point.

As for QB, when Bench came in they announced it over the PA.  Don't recall hearing them do that for the linemen they swapped out.

Can you just admit that you thought Flowers was bad early in the year, and the fact that he has turned out to not suck bothers you?

I think he's doing an amazing job and has exceeded my wildest expectations. He is infinitely better today than he was to start the year. But I'd still start AW next year if I thought he was better.

And why does QF's success bother me? Who in their right mind would be bothered by the numbers he's putting up? Even the most stubborn Bench lover couldn't have dreamed he'd sniff QF's stats this season.

Please stop making sense.  JTrue has a bit of a problem handling it.
