Re-watched the last game vs Maryland.

QF is still better over all than Bench

Again, coming in cold when he did, QF should have looked better. Who gets snaps with the first team all season? Who has a chance to learn a rhythm with those receivers, who was warmed up pre-game and played all game? Bench was set up to fail.

Very true- he was set up to fail!

But here's the thing. I don't think CWT thinks so. I don't know as a former qb he couldn't though.

Willie makes bad decisions and has done so before this year.   Mat Floyd??? Remember his choice of starting QB vs SMU last year-- that decision didn't work out too well.

If Mike White finds success at WKU, I think we will need to reaccess the string of failures at QB under CWT and who's fault it truly was.

SB actually picked up half the yrds QF had all game passing in one pass play that was called back for a penalty. Would have almost equal had it not been for Bronson volleyball pass to the MD defender.

Anyhow what I find interesting is I haven't read any QF sympathizers say SB was hit while throwing that ball on 3 and 20 that was picked but called back...

SB basically came of the bench and nearly equaled QF total passing yards for the entire game in roughly 2 plays, cold and all. He did have one over thrown ball over the middle.

If Bench is any kind of competitor, he should be embarrassed that this lame excuse keeps getting thrown out there ... I guess anytime a starting qb goes down, that team should just forfeit, or punt on first down, because the qb coming in will be ineffective.

Yup, no QB has ever come on in relief and hit the ground running and never given the job back. If only they had those first team reps and their coaches weren't always conspiring against them.

.

Yeah, well QF hasn't been developed either. Mike White apparently left for a reason.

Here's Mike, visably excited to go to a "QB friendly" offense at WKU.

Mike White saw the handwriting on the wall, i.e. CWT selecting QF as the starter over all others.  It was evident to him and his family that he would be riding the pine behind someone who is NOT a Div. 1 QB, therefore, his only option was to transfer to a school that he thinks it gives him a better chance at competing for the starting QB position.  Simple stuff.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
