I don't think our WRs has enough motivation with QF as QB... It would hurt our recruiting the talent WRs.

It might but in reality QF wil most likely not be the QB next year and AW will.

Another losing season at USF will hurt the entire program much much worse. It unfortunate that CWT is not doing everything he can to win now b/c with UCF crashing and burning this would be the perfect year to start peaking.

I'm sure cwt sits up late at night devising more ways he can try and get fired. I'm sure he loves the negative press and his name being dragged through the mud... Do you all really believe he's not doing everything in his power to right the ship, really?

What I think is that CWT is stubborn and can't get out of his own way. He probably does think what he is doing is best, but is stubborn enough to be wrong and not make course corrections when it is obviously needed.

Do you think we are going to see something magical happen that will save our season? It starts in two Saturdays against Memphis...and all indications is that we will see more of the same from this team.

QF is playing because of his running ability. However he runs out of bounds 2 yards shot of the first down slides in the open field and rarely keeps the ball on the read option, taking away the very thing that could make defenses play him honest enough to open up passing lanes and running lanes for the other backs. You might think CWT was protecting Tom Brady.

Execution and mental toughness starts with the coaching staff. It is very disappointing to hear CWT constantly blame the players and never looking at the job he is doing. Great coaches give credit for wins and take the blame for loses

Also what the f was Bronson doing in the game when SB came in. He had just made two STUPID mistakes, running the wrong rout and committing a penilty 30 yards from tthe play, negating a huge pass completion and ending any momemtem USF was building. A good coach would have benched him,but not CWT he leaves him to make another mistake. If you want to build a winning attitude you can not tolerate mistakes and people who screw up should not play until they can prove you can trust them.

I dunno about Bronson. Maybe he's a favorite of Taggart?

I hear Taggart hates the other receivers ....

Every day he holes up in his dark tower, cackling gleefully as he ponders which potential Heisman winner's career will be the next one he destroys, for no other reason than because he can.

This guy gets it.

I believe the team will play how the hopeful believe they can play. Defense for exposed and won't take kindly to that and the offense will actually execute. That's the difference between a L next week and a W. No magic needed, we have the skills, they just need to show up on game day. Edited by TromBull12

Unfortunately the evidence shows we'll have some more stuttering on O (sans magic), but maybe with a couple of completed big-play opportunities we eek out enough points for a win. But then that relies on the D holding up and being more disciplined than last week.

Crud, I don't know what to expect...again.

Memphis 44 Bowling Green 41 was last week.

Once again Memphis has a week pass D but unlike MD, they have a much better O especially passing. Paxton is a good QB who will score. The only way we have a shot at this is if we have good offensive showing. Unfortunately things are not looking good for our season if we continue down the same road.

The D will play better b/c Auggie will be in there. The O will mostly likely be more of the same and will not have the tools to take advantage if Memhpis' week pass D. Unfortunately Memphis is the most high power O we have faced this year. I think they are going to carve us apart...I hope I am wrong though b/c if the our D can hold Memphis down to say 21 points then the rest of our season might be salvageable.

I just hope if we need to go pass-heavy, we put SB in early enough to take advantage of a less tired O line. I'm all for giving QF his time to mature & find a groove, but if it's not working out well, just go to Bench early and give him time.

[edit] - and for pete's sake if QF is moving the ball well, keep with him!
