Dude was out golfing when he should've been recruiting and ruined our program. Never ever gonna cheer for him. You mean the charity golf tournament he, and other college football coaches, went to in 2012? But.. wasn't it one of the biggest recruiting weekends USF hosted? Other coaches may have attended that event, but did they also have a big recruiting event the same weekend? Also, even if it was a last minute scheduling error, there are priorities, USF needed any recruiting benefit they could get. There are many other charities at other times that can be done. I highly doubt coaches accept every single charity event that they are invited to

The 7on7 was put together by people not affiliated with the university and had no ties to USF.

Sounds like something he did at USF, and something the "legendary" Jim Leavitt never did.

If there had been 38 bowls back in 2001 or 2002 and we been eligible after moving up from I-AA, Jim would almost certainly be able to claim that distinction as well. Get your hate straight.

We still may be hiring him according to Joey Knight's Twitter feed.

Glad he's not here anymore. Although the coach that succeeded him hasn't fared better to date, the right move was made. That said, I wish Holtz all the best in the future.
