GA, as an aside, that stupid blue cow makes me hate you.

Hate is a strong word. Maybe, strongly dislike? Because I also strongly dislike it. It taunts me with its unabashed blue-ness.

It's Benny the Bull. From Dora the Explorer. My kids love the show. Plus, my name is Ben, and he's a Bull, so it fits.

Ah, yes. I should have recognized good ol' Benny. My kids also watch "La Exploradora." Could you at least put a green shirt on him?

Actually, never mind. It does fit. Benny is blue because ALL Bulls fans are blue. I wouldn't change him until we go at least 6-6.

 

 

It's a deal.  When we hit 6-6, I'll work on getting Benny a green T-shirt w/ an iconic U.  My Photoshop skills are extremely rudimentary, but I can probably figure it out.

People don't realize that we can't afford a "top of the line" coordinator... we need to hire someone up and coming who probably hasn't been a coordinator before.

 

Besides the budget reasons... there is a VERY REAL chance this could be a one-and-done year.  New OC and DC come in, the team doesn't make a bowl, and then CWT gets canned... new coach may or may not want to keep the OC/DC.

 

It's very much a risk-reward play... and any existing coordinator is not likely to take that risk.

Can't they find somebody else? My perspective on this is very biased. My wife is going to lizardtown U and hate that school and this place. I had to leave comfy Silver Spring, MD for this backwoods ****hole...

There has to be another way. Plenty of people can recruit Florida. This state practically furnishes the entire NFL with players.

Man, i just hope that we don't make a complete mess out of this whole situation. Didn't it take Taggart a while longer than expected to put his initial USF coaching staff together and even that was not without drama if I recall.

Is USF athletics capable of keeping potential targets under wraps before it's a done deal? The fans don't need to know all the god **** details of everyone we're after and everyone that says, "Not interested."
