One of the best recruiters in the country. Him and Telly Lockette would clean up south Florida.

Let's get it done.

I see we are swinging. Maybe we catch lightning and get lucky. If we have learned anything is just because someone coached under someone doesnt make them equivalent. Ala Taggart - Harbaugh, Ala Skip Holtz-Lou Holtz.

Let's get it done. Experience? Looks to me like he just rode the coattails of his 2 former coaches (Tuberville and Muschamp who were both at Auburn while he played/was a GA there) Also easy to look like a great DBs coach when you have Hargreaves out there. Also easy to be a great recruiter when you are at UF. How'd he do recruiting at Southern Miss? Or WKU? Edited December 8, 2014 by Hem

It's possible. UF had a good defense the last couple years, and working under Muschamp, he certainly knows what good defense is. Great point about having possibly the best cover corner in college football on the squad. At this point, I don't think we're in a great position to really "hem" and haw over anyone we get. We are at the kids table. We're not going to get a DC with much of a proven record. I think we are better off taking P5 assistants than G5 coordinators, like we did with the Basketball coaching hire. What better of a program could we get an assistant from than Florida? Granted they weren't great under Muschamp, but their defense was, and nesrly all of Muschamp's defenses have been top 30 everywhere he has coached.
