You take the win no matter how you get it.  This isn't TAMU.  We're basically a young fledgling still learning how to fly.   Baby steps toward our goals.

EXACTLY!!!!!  Or at least if he could have knocked it down.  Total fluke play.

That INT was one the biggest fluke plays I have seen.

 

I have been hard on White but he looked decent tonight and hopefully he can build on this game.

I am very happy the way White played, I'm just cautious with my thinking knowing it was against UCONN probably 1 of only a handful of programs in a worse situation than us. He doesn't need to be a hero every week, just needs to be able to hit open wide receivers and he did that tonight.

The oline was pretty average tonight (which is a compliment). Most of that running yardage was a result of the will, talent and creativity of our RBs. I will say the oline was good in the first half but just disappeared in the 2nd half.

Where are our TEs? Do they only block? I saw Sean Price take on 2 defenders several times and win. Great blocking by him but I would love to see him catch some passes. McFarland has become really unreliable and there was absolutely no help from the receivers.

My take away from this game is if the oline can keep MW upright, he is capable of making good reads and providing a passing threat to compliment our RBs. We may be able to do that a couple more times this year.

White looked good but we took baby steps against a bad UNCONN team with no backup QB. We had opportunities to make a statement and didnt.there was no garbage time in that game. Up 10 doesn't allow there to be garbage time. Our pass defense is suspect at best.

Glad we escaped.
