The new helmets are dope! I'm guessing a lot of the older people don't like them but amongst players, guys just coming in, and recruits they are popular.  It does make a difference...

Agree, that's really all that matters .... Helmets have pretty much been a joke since we shed these, anyway:

Our helmet looks cheap compared to some of these other schools. Not a fan.

They might have done their homework, maybe the matte green/gold decal looks great on TV

Agreed new helmets make a difference, but I am just saying we could have done a lot better and the recruits could be even more excited then the cheap looking design that was presented in that photo.
