"The biggest thing going for NC State this season is their out-of-conference schedule. The Wolfpack kicks off the season with four extremely winnable games against the Georgia Southern Eagles, the Old Dominion Monarchs, the South Florida Bulls and the Presbyterian Blue Hose. There is absolutely no reason for the Wolfpack to enter ACC play with anything worse than a 4-0 record. Even the Bulls, who were a decent team a half-decade or so ago, should not challenge NC State. As difficult as last season was for the Wolfpack, the Bulls were simply awful, going 2-10 on the year including a loss to the McNeese State Cowboys."

Georgia Southern? Aren't they the ones who beat UF without completing a single pass? The fact that it's only winnable shows how bad they are.

I still think we beat them.

Good, their overconfidence bodes well for us. May everyone look past us this year.

State's not all that...quite a statement to say we're an "extremely winnable game." ACC schools have started to outgrow their little basketball britches...

I don't remember what publication I was reading, but I read in one prognostication that NC State should likely go 3-1 OOC, with a chance at possibly going 4-0. Given the other games on their OOC slate, I'd like to think the 1 in that 3-1 is us.

Unless the writer, Dan Kelly, is their coach or on their staff, I don't see how this equates to the team being overconfident.

Oh hell yeah. A decent team a half decade ago... The better play like ...like.. their freaking scholarships depend on it. Better bust them up. Can't wait for that one.
