I'm ready to go home tomorrow ! This isn't going well. And no, I'm not following him on twitter. This was retweeted by someone. How do they expect anyone to know who they are with these twitter handles? Who is skippy walnuts? Knew who Walnuts was but don't know what "I'm mad AF" means ..... "I'm mad as ****"? This guy just got himself a girlfriend, he also seem to enjoy the tweet that says USF is his team now. Just relax right folks. These guys broadcast their entire day on twitter and quote others, gotta be careful trying to draw conclusion from any tweet that doesn't somehow relate to a basketball statement or remark. Is there an answer as to what 'AF' stands for in there ....? You guessed it right. Thank you ....

This is another symptom in a continuing pattern of failures by the athletic department. You can blame Stan Heath, you can blame the kids, but the reality is the program is going back to square one AGAIN and, for me, under a coach that I have no confidence that he can get it done. I'm not saying he won't, I'm saying there's nothing that gives me confidence that better days are ahead. If you see it, you're just holding on to wishful thinking, because there is no track record to show it. The exact same thing goes for football. Being an assistant to John Calipari and Jim Harbaugh doesn't make you John Calipari and Jim Harbaugh. And you'll never see me bragging about recruiting class rankings. The only thing that matters is on-field performance. I don't want to argue with fellow Bulls. That's not my aim. I'm just a guy who - in the past - has been as close to the program as you can get. It's painful to see what's happening and I can't pour my heart and soul into it anymore. I did that for years. Again, Brad will vouch. I don't get it. The two major sports are under going a transformation ... The Athletic Department itself is under going a transformation. Are you saying these changes shouldn't have been made? Why are you leaving NOW?? And I do agree with you wholeheartedly about the bragging about recruiting. It's great to do as a placebo in the offseason, especially after **** seasons but it means nothing until it translates into wins ... and Stan is apparently a perfect example of that. CWT has apparently done a great job of getting talent here but the proof will still be in the pudding. COA and gang are apparently working their asses off to get the talent here on a short notice but even when/if they do, it won't mean a thing until it produces wins. This is actually a pretty exciting time for USF Athletics, in a edge of your seat type way, so I really can't imagine walking away right now. It's likely not as exciting for some fans that have been around it for 30 years, give or take a few. When you look at the past two-five years alone, it's easier to take. There are a number of long time Bulls that have become frustrated with the lack of measurable progress, even those that have invested emotion, hours of time and thousands of dollars (like USFDaveG). At some point, you just get tired. dabull10 is the same. I get it. Most will get over it, but each ditch gets harder and harder to lift yourself out of. Me, I'm just happy we are getting the loser/quitter mentality out of the program in some ways. I hope I am around long enough to see some improvement beyond a fond memory of what we thought we would eventually become.

USF athletics is a complete embarrassment. I've been a diehard, bleed green & golder since 1984 - NEVER been called fair-weather - but that's officially it for me. I'll check back in around 2018 and see if anything has improved with football, men's basketball and baseball. Anthony Collins will be next and the 2014-15 Bulls won't be competitive with Hillsborough Community College. For me, this is not just the usual fallout from a coaching change. My response, which I stated was in all sincerity, was 2 animated gifs: One of Penn Jillette (of Penn and Teller) saying... in different a different manner... to be quiet. And one of Ari Gold from Entourage saying, also in a different phrase, to please leave. Feel free to look them up to get the full expression. Been around for that long but just with hoops so not as emotionally invested with everything else USF that some are ... but still don't get the giving up part. As a fan of the Bucs since their inception I guess it's kind of strengthened my resolve.

Maybe I am holding on to wishful thinking like you say, but maybe I'm able to see what the new coaching staff is doing and it's all positive. I haven't seen anything about USF basketball that isn't positive since Antigua took over. If you are in so much pain then maybe you should go see a doctor of try over the counter medicine. What exactly are you seeing that's positive? Player exits? Edited April 23, 2014 by Bulliever deleted duplicate quotes

It's 100% clear that a me first loser mentality had infected the program under Stan and his staff. This upcoming season will be painful but hopefully COA and his staff recruit kids that buy into the PROGRAM and his system rather than kids looking to do them and nothing else. I give up ... Me too. WTF Brad? Give us a hint. The a-hole effect, i.e. the influence of one Doug Woolard in the athletic department, is my guess. Brad beat on that drum for quite a while.
