Strickland pleaded guilty to DUI in 2010 and his driver license was suspended for 12 months according to news article reports.  I count four DUI arrests total.  USF will surely examine all this in making any hiring decision on Strickland...probably already have.  If he is on the wagon now, I'm ok with him working at USF.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but that worked out pretty well for us with Vernon Hargreaves III, huh? 

 

Thinking about it, how long has Strickland been at UK?  I'm pretty sure Calipari has been watching those kids for some time, he will probably get first crack if they are good. 

 

But it was working out pretty well with Heath's son.  No guarantees on any of this and look pretty young in that video so they may not amount to much by time they are college age.  So, yeah, thanks for being a wet blanket.  :dankk2:

Also Rod Strickland wants to be a HC someday so the move to USF is a smart one for those that can't believe he would leave UK for USF. I have high expectations for what Hot Rod can do on the recruiting trail and his teaching of the position has already been declared **** good. So far the coaching staff is a big improvement from the previous one and Coach O still has several spots to fill.
