Anyone else find it weird how a month ago UL wasn't interested, then silence, then suddenly he's enrolling there? Not to mention the statement by Strong saying something to the effect of he wouldn't e adding anyone else to the roster.

As far fetched as it may seem, some things do happen out of the public eye .... We have no idea when Louisville really became interested.

Shaw's playing well. Dyer wouldn't help us much.

Dyer would need to play every position on offensive line and QB to help this year's USF offense.

Exactly, RB has not been our problem.

Now that we're getting into the season, its becoming painfully obvious why guys like Dyer, Trickett, and Mitchell didn't transfer in and guys like Griffin and D'Vo jumped ship.

Not to argue, but:

1. Dyer is the #2 back (but that'll likely change)

2. Trickett may wind up as the #3 QB, behind the RS Freshman, and has played only a series or 2 thus far.  That may change, too.

3. Agree on Griffin & Dvo...or they have grown tired of Andre Davis's attitude (and watching balls flying everywhere without touching receivers).

Dyer isn't going to lose a dime in the upcoming draft because of his decision. The only difference is, he gets to enjoy this year.

Trickett must have been terrified of this offense to choose being the #3 QB at WVU over the #1 here.

I don't know about Sterling Griffin and D'Vo jumping ship. I think Griffin did it purely out of loyalty to the departing coaching staff. D'Vo may have done it for the reasons you imply.

Brandon Mitchell did not transfer to USF because USF did not want him. Had they made a hard run at him, I think they could have gotten him. That was a mistake on this coaching staff's part, IMO. Brandon Mitchell may be out for a few more weeks with a broken bone in his left foot, but nobody should have any illusions about that somehow proving USF was right not to go after him.

Mitchell was brilliant during his debut for the Wolfpack. He led the team on two straight touchdown drives to start the game, completing 3 out of 3 passes for 93 yards, running the football 5 times for 19 yards.

Clint Trickett is the guy that USF made a hard run at that must now really regret his decision. He could be starting here and he would really stabilize a completely unstable position.

Michael Dyer regrets nothing, as you say, even if he's be the backup at Louisville for the moment. But then, USF has no reason to regret losing out on him because Marcus Shaw has been absolutely brilliant.
