Wow, with a change in coaching philosophy, BJ has had a dramatic improvement over one summer. Amazing how that works, I wonder if one of our QBs could do something like that. As it currently stands, I am happily eating my crow as I thought that BJ would never make it in the NFL!

No crow to be eaten. Some see things with different eyes than others. Welcome to the light.

Even this staunch Daniels defender didn't think he would have a real shot.

Jim harbaugh preaches to his qbs to take the sack instead of turning the ball over.

So far both mccoy and tolzien have turned the ball over. And not only did bj take sacks instead of throwing picks, he made the plays to keep te drive alive! I mean how many third downs did he convert on that drive? Three? That was the ideal drive for a harbaugh offense

In the NFL, three first downs is usually at least 30 yards of ball movement (barring penalties and such). If you're able to start at your own 20, you're now at midfield and even if the drive stalls there, you've successfully flipped the field with a punt, even if it only results in a touch back. That's a win for the defense and way better than an INT in dangerous territory.

Three first downs is always and everywhere at least 30 yards--I'd guess usually 40 and often 50.

Not a good sign for BJ....49ers are bringing in Free Agent Seneca Wallace for a tryout.

Makes sense to bring in more competition if a 7th round rookie is making a run at the back up slot. All bj can ask for is a shot.

Could be a bad sign for Tolzien and McCoy ...

lol seneca wallace. he's a guy who can run.

methinks colt and tolzien's days are numbered. it actually genius of harbaugh - bring in a 3rd guy who can run that type of offense.
