Steven Bench's visit with USF went very well. Bench then made a trip to North Carolina State. The impression USF made might be hard to overcome for the other schools being considered. about 5 hours ago | Brent Sobleski | College Football Rumors http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/_/id/152/north-carolina-state-wolfpack

Not just Flacco, Kaepernick (Nevada), Big Ben (Miami of Ohio), Tony Romo (Eastern Ill), the list goes on. It's not like it used to be, no matter where you play if you play good enough, an NFL team will know about you.

I'll bet $120.6 million he doesn't give a ****.

But here's the thing. If he can't get a starting job at Penn State, should he be worrying about the NFL right now?

Yes he didn't win the starting job this year (in the spring btw) but PSU just brought in a good JUCO to start. Isn't like the kid road 3rd string for 3 years and wants to transfer.

They've also got a 500 lbs gorilla in the room by the name of Christian Hackenberg. Many considered Hackenberg the top pro style QB prospect in the nation. Bench very correctly read the writing on that wall. But I agree with the point that Bench needs to have his eyes on the road rather than on the horizon.
