He's made it clear he's taking his visits before he decides, and he's still going to Mississippi State tomorrow-Tuesday, will decide after that. He's been pretty consistent and forthright in both who he's considering and when he'll announce. ...

We can't wait that long.  If he goes somewhere else, we need to get a jump on saying he wasn't any good anyway and get all excited about some other potential QB transfer.  Failing that, White will become the favorite again for no particular reason whatsoever.

If he's considering Mississippi State then there's no way to make a schedule argument but if he's considering North Carolina State versus South Florida, I think South Florida could easily have the tougher schedule.

 

But at Mississippi State it's pretty clear he WILL NOT start in 2013. That's not even up for debate. He would in all likelihood redshirt in 2013 and then compete with Dak Prescott in 2014. And if you watch Dak come in at the end of the Alabama game and take the team down the field and score a touchdown...if I were him I can't consider the outcome of that competition to be a given by any means. And Dak will have another year under his belt of scoring touchdowns on wildcat packages while Bench defenselessly rides the pine on a redshirt. And if Tyler Russell gets hurt and Prescott comes in and kills it, that competition is over before it starts.

 

So there's definitely a big time "bird in hand versus two in the bush" aspect in this decision.
