I'm not so sure about Bench. Is he a shoe-in to be starter? I don't know how much evidence there is for that. 

 

I don't think he's a shoe-in at all.

No one we get as a transfer is a shoo-in to be a starter.  If they were good enough to start at their current school, they wouldn't be transferring.  I look at it as one more option and added competition.  That can only help, at this point.

 

Trickett would've been a shoe-in for the starting job. The only chance he wouldn't have been the starter would have been the chance that he got hurt or suddenly went Titus Young crazy.
