I THOUGHT we had to open at Philly the next year ... there was some article recently about the Baltimore Ravens having a conflict with the Orioles with the start of this upcoming season, and the article mentioned that the NFL likes to have the SB winners spotlighted in a home opener the following year ... I thought, well, not so much for the Bucs back in '03 ...

Although, it is pretty cool the Bucs got the last ever win in the Vet, and the first ever win in the Linc.

Definitely worth it for that... and the Ravens are in a kind of similar situation but not so bogus a reason. They open on a Monday at Denver, also a team they beat on the way to the SB.

All those great moments, and they led the NFL in blackouts last year. Never mind the fact that no one showed for Ronde Barber day at RJS either.

You do realize that there was 9-10 years of bad to mediocre football in between last year and 2003, right?  This would happen with most small-market teams.

When someone is obviously trolling, it's best to just ignore them ...  ;)

Hopefully it goes well today and tomorrow; reports are that Mr. Bench is on campus today and tomorrow. Good luck Willie!

Former Penn State QB Steven Bench says he will visit USF on Monday-Tuesday, then N.C. State next weekend, then Mississippi State next week.

USF is definitely aggressively going after QB transfers that could play in 2013. Clint Trickett, Steven Bench, Brandon Mitchell.

Hopefully things are going well. Would be nice to get a QB who can take snaps under center. Would be an upgrade.

Really? Because Miss St is also mid week. West Viriginia was first for Trickettt. We are first for Bench. I mean if superstition is the game then Bench has already chosen USF.
