It would be very interesting to see what Bench is thinking about NC St because Jacoby Brissett went there in January but he has to sit out the year So Bench could start a year but then you have to go up against Jacoby next year for the starting job.

No way in hell Bench starts over Brissett. Brandon Mitchell is also looking at NC St, for his last year...that scenario could work. If Mitchell goes to NC St, Bench may come this way.

Could be. But Mitchell could also go with UAB where he's familiar with the offense.

There was serious JJ karma going on in that game, where those bastards at the NFL made us, the reigning SB champs, open on a Monday night AT Philly's new ******** ...

All those great moments, and they led the NFL in blackouts last year. Never mind the fact that no one showed for Ronde Barber day at RJS either.

You do realize that there was 9-10 years of bad to mediocre football in between last year and 2003, right?  This would happen with most small-market teams.

I THOUGHT we had to open at Philly the next year ... there was some article recently about the Baltimore Ravens having a conflict with the Orioles with the start of this upcoming season, and the article mentioned that the NFL likes to have the SB winners spotlighted in a home opener the following year ... I thought, well, not so much for the Bucs back in '03 ...

Although, it is pretty cool the Bucs got the last ever win in the Vet, and the first ever win in the Linc.
