The choice is come to USF and start now, or go to Miss State and redshirt for a year and then compete with 6'5" Dak Prescott who will have two years of playing time as a wildcat QB under his belt by then.

Choice seems easy.

It's a wrap. He's prolly a Bull. He's also still a two star recruit who had some "not that outstanding offers" (minus Penn State). Floyd had some way better offers than this guy. Louisville for example. Hope it works out for us this year at QB.

Louisville is a better offer than PSU pre-sanctions?

I don't care about stars, offers, etc. Let's bring him on board and see if he can earn the starting job. Based upon what I've seen thus far he's got as good of a shot as anyone else. Plus CWT apparently put out the welcome mat for him. CWT knows more about potential QBs than I do, so I'll give him and Bench the benefit of the doubt.

I'm getting excited about the idea. After seeing Eveld and Floyd at the spring game, this gives me more hope.

Joe Schad â€@schadjoe 3m

Former Arkansas QB Brandon Mitchell said Monday he will enroll at NC State

Looks like NC state is not an option

Mitchell would be a one year starter and Bench still has a RS year available.  Just sayin.

Data, there's no way in hell he'd start over Jacoby Brissett at NC State.

It's USF (guaranteed play now) or Miss State (maybe play later...maybe)

Gonna sound homer-ish but if he doesn't choose USF, to me it is almost a sign of shying away from the prospect of playing immediately, like he's not ready. To me it wouldn't be a great sign.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
