Clearly, that's why we made it. Shadow, I get that you love to argue, but you're being ridiculously more obstinate than normal. No one said it was a 100% foolproof play. I think it's time you let this one go. Me? I don't post for hours and I find a dozen posts on this topic. It isn't even close to being just me. Personally, I'm convinced the others are arguing so much because they know I'm right and that is why they can't let it go. LOL. Yeah, it has nothing to do with statistics, and a professional coach and semi-pro football scout are idiots. You're the guy who always points out that you trust the professionals' opinions rather than message board denizens. I guess, except for when you're the denizen whose opinion differs from the pros. Then all the self-righteous ******** goes out the window, nobody but Shadow knows what they're talking about. More power to ya, though, I'm sure you would have denied the Titanic was sinking too if you had been aboard. The Titanic did not make it across the Atlantic, therefore, going for it was a bad decision. so you're saying the professionals didnt know what they were doing? Or what about the 10% of kicks Ciabatti put into the endzone for touchbacks last year? A 15 yard punt was definitely possible.

Just because it fails, doesn't mean its a bad call. If your kicker misses a 20 yard field goal, doesn't mean it was a poor decision. THIS...should end the dialog. But it won't, because it's already been said here. BTW, we should stop on htis thread, before Bullwinkle frets it'll cause DJohnson to transfer.
