Gismo seems to think otherwise. I'm not sure if he believes Mack set the record or we got that first down.

Everyone is entitled to be wrong.

That said, I can't believe BW isn't hopping mad about this Mack stuff being resurrecting Johnson's thread.  If I cared a lot about housekeeping here, I'd suggest it be moved to Mack's, or whereever the Siberia of TBP is.

Who cares what BW thinks? This is DJ's recruiting thread, and he's on the roster now, no longer a recruit.

Who punts from the opponent's 38?

skip holtz.

Nick Saban would absolutely 100% punt in that situation.  But he's not like a good coach or anything.

Additionally, with the night Mack was having, it's not a stretch to assume he can get one yard in that situation.

Except that every person in the stadium knew he was getting the ball.  Even the hot dog guy.  And they ran the exact same play the previous play and  got less than one yard.

Dumb decision.

I'm praising the move. That has to be the play with the best chance for success.

Yeah, it's not like Ciabatti was having the best punting night in the history of USF football or anything.

Right, a 47 yd punt is just what we needed at that point.

But...but...Saban would have done it! And there's no way he would have let his RB with 275 yards try for 1 more!

Saban would have tried a field goal ...

Every body knew that he was getting it on most plays after the 2nd TD run and they still couldn't stop him.
