Hell, Holtz should even offer him some PT right away, kind of like Tebow and Leak at UF in 2006, and Bridgewater and Stein this year.

Does anyone know how Jupiter is doing in the playoffs? If they are still in?

They were 3-7 I believe. Max preps showed they scored 7 points total in the final 3 games.

Well then it sounds like he will fit into our offense perfectly!

Dang that kinda scares me a little.... is it just me or if he was that good I expect him to do a little more than that

Grothe may not have had the prototypical QB height, but he was a straight gamer at Lake Gibson. He won a lot of games for his high school. Not sure if Cameron is even surrounded with the same talent Grothe was at Lake Gibson, but the lack of wins is a bit concerning.

Don't like that 3-7 record either.

His stats don't look that good.

45% COMP.

1453 yds

12 TDs

6 INTS

Average per game:

8-17

145 yds

1 TD

Compare this to Bennie Coney, a Cincinnati commit from Plant City:

59.3%

2297 yds

30 TDS

7 INT

We may need to find a guy after next year that can come in and start right away.

we were pretty good under Grothe due to his extreme competitive nature. He was just an averge QB that never quit on the field. I wouldn't mind finding someone with that attitude + the natural ability.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
