Based on his quotes, I believe the coaching staff was quietly backing away. Hopefully that means we have one or two others in the crosshairs.

the thing is that the trust was broken and we all know that's instrumental in grooming a QB for the future, his failure to reach out to the staff and let them know of his where a bouts help lead to this... it's his life I doubt the coaches would have any problem looking around to make sure he's rowing what's best for him, but once the bridges were broken there was no going back... I was very excited about him

Hilarious....you actually think that we would back away from a kid like this after the season we had? I'm sure that the top QB's in the nation are reconsidering now that WE have an opening. This boiled down to we aren't very good and our conference is anything but stable. Can't blame him for WAKEing up and looking for other opportunities.

Wish him well

Although I'm dissapointed, my positive spin on this is.... 86 of 189, 12 TD 6 Int. That's about 45% completion rate. I've seen that way too often this year. Hopefully we can get a solid QB in this class. It seems we have some really good recievers on our roster now and a very strong incoming class.

Good riddance, I wasn't impressed with him.

And he obviously wasn't impressed with us.

Kid had some pretty Stars next to his name but he has bad mechanics/throwing motion and isn't the most accurate passer. The bad news is we don't have any other quality options on the board right now that I've heard about. That is unless you consider stealing a QB from Marshall a good option........
