Days like today make me relieved that I don't bother going to games or getting overly invested in our athletic programs anymore. Any opportunity to do something big and they fill their pants. Sat by and let themselves go from big east to the worst conference ever assembled, and now regularly lose to ai generated schools. It's time to end this entire athletic program and stop wasting our money.

Is it the refs when both games vs UAB they got to the line much more than us? Maybe they just are bigger/stronger and play a style that lends to the refs making the calls. 

We had long stretches of missed shots.

Yep. They are a bad matchup for us right now because of how physical they play and how hard they take it to the rim. Not having Corey Walker may have been the difference in this game.

That's a bingo. Same as when we first played Charlotte. They were really physical and made for a tough match up.

Corey Walker is a major difference maker. His physical defense and especially rebounding would have made for a closer match up.

Disappointing, but excited about our prospects next year. Hopefully most players come back, and we are able to add a few pieces to get even better.

Our NCAAT birth was lost early season during our OOC schedule. Hopefully next year we can have a better start with a stronger OOC schedule. Winning these end of season tournaments are never easy, that is why they call it March Madness. Hopefully we can have a tournament lock next year before the AAC tournament

but yes this one stings.
