  1. I thank the people involved with Fowler Avenue, and I intend to donate, but as some have said, the more information they share with the public, the more I believe people will donate. For example a simple " we are raising money for player X; we have raised this amount of money, and we are trying to raise Y amount of money...." would do wonders.
  2. Yes, I much prefer the player we picked up from Cincy
  3. Its hard to assess the replacements as to whether they are better compared to what we lost, but Coach Rahim has earned goodwill, and I trust that he knows what he is doing evaluating talent and recruiting.
  4. It can get confusing though. Kansas City not being in Kansas, but instead in Missouri blew my mind.
  5. That's disappointing since I was hoping SEC. But I will settle for the Big 10 I guess.
  6. I am doing my bi weekly checking this thread for updates. So are we in??
  7. Aren't we still above .500 on the season, and in the top half of the AAC? Comparing this to the Scott era is a bit much.
  8. Don't have a Saudi Prince, but do have a Nigerian Prince who send me an e-mail and is willing to wire me millions if I am willing to give up my bank account info first plus an amount of money in order to get the money out of Nigeria. Sounds legit right? I think we are set in the NIL.
  9. It does make sense though regarding Memphis and San Diego State being on top regarding consideration during the next realignment. Add to that U Conn, WSU, and OSU. I think we are probably in the tier after that along with Tulane, Boise State, Navy... The key is to keep winning, built facilities, and also some luck regarding how the dominoes fall, and we will be in the ACC and Big 12 within the next 3-5 years.
  10. I would love to see the angle from the other side. We haven't seen that angle yet. i like the green and gold color scheme, and the horns sticking out
  11. USF needs to find their own Sugar Daddy. Don't we have famous rich alum. Hulk Hogan maybe?
  12. I was definitely joking; although when playing the Just Dance game on Nintendo Switch my scores are through the roof, and people usually get a good laugh when I attempt karaoke.
  13. Depends what line of work you are in. If it involves signing a contract that requires you to finish a particular job ( for example, a contract to built a house), or in the NFL, where you sign multi year contracts,.... its different I am a white guy in my early 40's who doesn't speak Korean, but I am still an aspiring k pop artist, and if I sign a contract with a label, I would have to finish the terms of the contract.
  14. A much needed change would be to have players sign contacts in order to get NIL money, and have that info made public. For example, Players A sign a contract for X amount of money for a Y year contract. This would prevent players from jumping after 1 year.
  15. Great year all around ! Even baseball and women's basketball still had or are having a winning season. Need to keep it going, and even do better next year. It feels like we have a great group of coaches.
  16. My argument is not that he is better than Brown or that he is not replaceable. My argument is that he probably would have been a better option to have compared to our current back up QB's. Again the way the world works the probability of having your starting QB injured at some point is sizable. And lets not forget its not like he wasn't able to win games; he did so in the Big 12, and it wasn't entirely on him when at USF with the defense we had
  17. He had a bad start, but found his mojo as did our offense in his last three games. Defense lost us a bunch of games, offense was decent . Last three games 6 td and 0 interceptions with great rushing stats too. You have to the look at the totality of his numbers. Bohanon would have been a great option to have as a back up qb
  18. Bohanon in his last 3 games before his injury throwing the ball, plus some decent rushing yards as well Sat 10/15 vsTULN L 45-31 7 8 109 87.5 13.6 1 0 44 0 243.2 99.6 Sat 10/8 @24CIN L 28-24 11 21 139 52.4 6.6 2 0 33 0 139.4 93.2 Sat 10/1 vsECU L 48-28 18 28 253 64.3 9.0 3 0 91 1 175.5 15.5
  19. The way things go for mobile QB's, injuries happen often. It was mind-numbing when looking at other AAC teams, and the amount of QB injuries they had. Bohanon would have been a great option to have had as a back up QB. The back up QB who I assume will be Archie did not show me much last year, albeit in limited time. Maybe Carter?
  20. I agree with JR. The ACC would be wise to replace FSU with USF immediately, then look to expand back to 18 + Notre Dame -- ideally by poaching high-value "4 Corners" teams - or even the combo of TCU and Kansas - from the Big XII. This would secure the ACC as one of the power conferences - even if it wouldn't be fully equal to the top two. Interesting, but no way Notre Dame joins the ACC, and the " you pick up South Florida to secure them from the Big 10" is just hilarious I have a better shot at dating Rihanna, Zendaya, and Jennie Kim at the same time than we do at getting into the Big 10. ACC and Big 12 ,however, at some point is possible
  21. Sure, no doubt Placer was a known commodity regarding as to what he was getting. I guess in the end my point regarding the tweet or x, or whatever its called now, is that in this new NIL and transfer portal era both coaches and fans will have to develop a thick skin, and we will lose some and gain some. Coach Rahim will undoubtedly at some point recruit players from other schools that at some point were undervalued or not evaluated correctly, but were able to prove themselves at a lower level. And at that point coaches from those other schools will probably think or say the same thing about us. While none of this is good for College basketball this is the new reality, and we need to be willing to play ball, and I am sure we will.
