  1. I hope not. He is a great player, and would be an important piece of the team next year.
  2. True. I hadn't really followed the women's team this year and just read it on the board, so it was easier to swallow. The women's team has been so consistent where NCAAT as of late has almost become a norm. And I guess if you are an elite team its easier to refuse a NIT bid But I think for the two major sports; football and men's basketball you take whatever post season play you can get. However, if there comes a day where we refuse a NIT bid for men's basketball, it would probably mean that we have gone to multiple NCAAT, and at that point us refusing a NIT bid will become easier to swallow as well.
  3. Just hope we would never go that route. the NIT journey albeit brief was fun, and would always be worthy of playing.
  4. This thread scared me clicking on it. I though you were talking our QB BB. OOF!
  5. Fantastic season. One for the record books. Hopefully everyone who can comes back next season , and that hopefully we can add a few pieces. Expecting NCAAT next year!
  6. I think we are the only AAC team still playing. That is something to be proud about. Lets continue the season tonight with a win.
  7. The team deserves a sell out tonight.
  8. I think there is pressure at USF. If there is no pressure at USF to perform then we as a fanbase are not doing our job.
  9. Yes, I picked Stetson law school for many reasons mostly academic, but one additional reason was the excuse to live 3 additional years in the Tampa Bay area.
  10. I know a lot of people dont like ESPN on this board, but that AAC deal where we can watch all these USF games for multiple sports on ESPN plus is incredible. Wish there was a deal that would include the ESPN cable networks as well, and I would be done with Youtube tv forever
  11. No the main campus is in Deland, and that is where the sports play. The law school is in St Petersburg. Gorgeous campuses both.
  12. Yes, but the law school is located in the St Pete''s
  13. It will always be the SunDome for me as well. The old SunDome where the light came in through the roof ( way before my time though) looked like an epic arena.
  14. We absolutely should play as many power 5 teams as we can. Winning at least 2-3 of those might be a pre requisite of making it to the tournament as an at large in the future.
  15. That last sentence is funny, Would Duke and North Carolina potentially break up up their rivalry with North Carolina State? Of course they would. Who wouldn't?
  16. Wins against Arizona, Texas A& M, Butler, Virginia Tech... The killed it during their OOC games, and we didn't
  17. Doesn't help the AAC that both tournament teams were eliminated today.
  18. Had we won one or two more games in the beginning of the season and one more at the end of the season and we likely would have been in, even if we didn't win the conference tournament. the goal has to be for the AAC to become a three bid NCAAT again.
  19. The AAC being a respected conference would mean a better chance for us making it to the Playoffs or NCAAT
  20. Being in the AAC is what it is, and we might as well embrace it. USF doing well in the NIT, and FAU and UAB advancing would be great for the conference and therefore good as well for USF.
  21. I think Houston and UCF would not have been picked up if the Big 12 would have been aware of the complete Pac implosion. However, UCF being in the Big 12 might end up being a benefit to us since a USF-UCF rivalry would be great for everyone involved. We have seen that a UCF-USF rivalry excites both fan bases, and brings out passions ( the worst and the best out of both fanbases). To the point that an amazing dancer and artist ( the UCF cheerleader) ends up being ridiculed . I am still looking for the dance tutorial since I bet the ladies will love it next time I am at the club.
  22. The difference is the Big 12 has been verry proactive with expansion: The Arizona schools, BYU, Utah, Cincy,.... It will all depend on how many schools the ACC loses.
