    I don't know if I see it that way. I see it more akin as for example someone who works at a firm and applies for another job; doesn't get the job, or gets the job but then decides to stay put. Or how is it different, for example for a coach to put his name out in the coaching carousel, willing to jump on a better opportunity, but not get the better job and than staying put? If Miguel decides to stay at USF and takes his name out of the portal I will see that as a win for USF.

    This is the second year in a row that the Spring game is scheduled at the same time as Coachella. Probably not a good idea since it will probably thin out the younger crowds.

    I don't think he is going anywhere this year. If we had made the NCAAT and won a few games than I would be more worried.

    Sorry about that. Sometimes I glance over comments quickly and I saw minor league, and than made a false assumption. Sometimes I misread things and this is one case of that.

    That's never going to happen. College football and NFL will always be separate. I think most college fans appreciate the differences and wont let that happen.

    I was just joking about the one hour, and in reality I don't need the blue pill and my body is a fine tuned machine like the world has never seen that can go for 36 hours non stop. And I am speaking conservatively.

    Oh my god! I would spend the rest of my life travelling, checking of everything of my bucket list. Wouldn't spend money on big cars, huge mansions, or jewelry. Would have a nice apartment in Vancouver, and one in Tokyo. I would donate a lot to USF and would earmark it going to coaches, since well paid quality coaches will be the key to sustained success.

    With 12 teams making it I would take the wager that they make it to the playoffs as part of the Big10 or SEC within the first 5 years. The never part is funny since never is a long long time.

    I would have jumped on that since there has to be a cool story behind it. I am always looking online for cool USF collectibles or items for my USF section in my man cave.

    Under the same logic are WSU and OSU happy because the got left behind even though they are probably getting quite a bit of money from the old Pac teams, or would they have rather have been picked up by a top 4 conference? No i believe you try to be in the best possible conference, with the best possible teams and the money will follow. Tv contract can and will always be renegotiated based on value.

    I disagree. If you are a lower ACC team, or teams like UConn, USF, Memphis,... the worst possible strategy is staying put and wait it out. If The ACC loses half its team, and you are Syracuse, Virginia Tech type team, and the Big 12 calls you you jump on the opportunity.

    Sure that's happening behind the scenes, and Rahim and our AD are talking, and we should hear about a new contract soon. Not breaking up the contract, and giving Rahim a raise after the great year we have had would be foolish. But again I think its happening behind the scenes

    Its not unheard of of a player entering the portal only to later decide to come back. I am hoping he changes his mind if the NBA part of the equation doesn't work out

    I don't know. I feel that going to Memphis from Tulsa is a major step up. Memphis despite a disappointing year is elite and probably the flagship program of the AAC. Tulsa is the exact opposite of that.

    That is a worldwide trend. You see the same all over the world. I am part of that new generation where people no longer are pressured to marry and have children. More and more of us are deciding not to have children. I think this is a positive trend.

    Make it a first of its kind k pop themed amusement park. It will make USF and Tampa Bay an international destination, and you will thank me later.

    I tend to agree with what you are saying. A student goes to school and takes out loans and sees it as an investment. When people are young they have big dreams. They enter school with a dream for a future career. When they exit school reality sets in regarding real world pay, job opportunities, high cost of living, insurance, and interest rates. Personally i wouldn't gripe young people making these financial decisions regarding education.

    I think its the same reason why we want out of the AAC, its the human desire to improve ones situation. The ACC is clearly a step down compared to the Big 10 and SEC.

    If you look at the Sweet 16, and Elite 8, very few teams outside the major conferences. Just San Diego State and Gonzaga. This hasn't been a good year when it comes to Cinderellas or teams outside the Power Conferences. I feel the selection process for the NCAAT seems like it was pretty solid at least this year.

    App State, Marshall, Toledo, and Liberty should be considered during the next expansion ( assuming that the Mountain West teams aren't options). I worry though they will look at Georgia State, or other teams located in big Metropolitan areas instead. VCU,, and Dayton as basketball only.

    That would make sense if the game was played behind closed doors, but they will show highlights plus there will be a crowd who I presume will take some footage using cellphones. So I doubt that they are not streaming the game in order to hide new plays and formations.

    i think that would be a fun game. As would away games against Cal , San Diego State, and Stanford.
