  1. I could come up with a 100 situations that are worse than being in the AAC. Sun belt, Mac, Conference USA, independent, no program...
  2. Came out tonight with a lot of fire. I was worried about that after last week. Tells me that Rahim is a great motivator of men. Love seeing this performance so far.
  3. Working now. I had it on the tv app and that was glitchy, but its running smooth on the laptop
  4. FSU and Clemson could probably leave the conference followed by having their attorneys tie all this up for years in litigation. Ultimately I think a settlement will be reached.
  5. Ultimately all the suing is just posturing for a settlement for a lower buyout.
  6. There is no place like Vegas. Something every person should experience at least once. I have lost count the amount of times I have been there. Most years I combine Coachella with Vegas, and will do so again this year.
  7. North Texas blowing out LSU in their NIT game. Hoping we can rise to the occasion after the disappointment last week.
  8. Correction i was wrong on the women's team making multiple NCAAT recently. It was thinking NIT's. The rest still stands including the men being in the NCAAT this year.
  9. True, probably also Duke, SMU, North Carolina State, and Syracuse. Still a decent base of teams to built on. Still a better situation for us to be in compared to the AAC.
  10. Has some decent baseball history. They are in the NCAAT this year. Beat FSU and USF last year. Beat UCF and Charlotte this year. The women's team has made multiple NCAAT recently. I might be biased since while I did my undergrad at USF I went to law school at Stetson. I love when we play Stetson. Its the most relaxing game to watch since no matter what happens I am happy. Always root for USF first though.
  11. Not likely if they lose 4 or more. Big 12 members will be in wait and see mode to see what happens to the ACC, so no chance that Big 12 teams right now would jump to the ACC due to the uncertainty. Now if the ACC only loses two and there is some certainty that the Big 10 and SEC are done than perhaps the ACC could go after a WVU, Kansas, or Cincy. But the Big 12 seems at an advantage right now over the ACC, and is a vey stable conference due to the PAC implosion. But if you see ACC backfilling with Big 12 teams than I wouldn't be surprised if the Big 12 considers us an option
  12. Great law school if I say so myself!
  13. Killing the ACC would be enough incentive just by itself. Remember a year ago they felt that a Cincy, Houston, and UCF brought value to the league. A Louisville, Georgia Tech, Pitt, NC State could make sense to them.
  14. I don't know. If a Duke, Stanford, Cal. Pitt, and Georgia Tech get the choice between being in a conference with us, Tulane, Syracuse, Wake Forrest, and Boston College or the Big 12, they will fall over themselves to get in the Big 12. Again assuming the ACC loses more than 4 teams. If its just 4 the ACC will be fine. If its more the Big 12 will be in a good position.
  15. Because it would offer them stability and more prestige. That's assuming the ACC loses more than 4. If they lose more than 4 the Big 12 would be a better conference by a long shot. Louisville and Pitt would fit in well geographically with the Big 12.
  16. I don't know what the magic number would be for us to be guaranteed a spot in the ACC, but them expanding Westward might have changed that number. I am sure while we are under consideration teams like San Diego State, OSU, WSU, Tulane, Boise State, ECU and Memphis are as well. I know for some Boise State is a controversial one, but they are probably the best football school available, and they have slowly turned into a very good basketball program as well. I think the more teams the ACC loses the better for us.
  17. i don't know what the number is, or should be, but if we think that he can be a consistent winner for us the number should be significant. We have seen over the last decade how much it costs to be forced to fire coaches who cant produce. So if we think we have a winner we should do everything to keep him. The same goes for Golesh Ultimately its all about winning. the winning is even more important than great facilities.
  18. The great thing about this season and these young coaches coming in and winning right away is that it defeats the false premise that its hard to win at USF, and that a turn around is a multi year preposition. From this day forward we should only expect playoffs, NCAAT, bowl games, conference championships and winning seasons.
