    Higher seeds losing in so many games. Dayton lost against Duquesne yesterday. SMU, Memphis out. This will not be easy. Hoping ECU is tired from yesterday

    I wish I had your confidence. i think it will be brutal to beat UAB and FAU (probably) on back to back nights after having played another game the day prior. The way the tournament is set up is not ideal for us.

    I like this bracket to the finals. it would be nice to play UAB again since if we beat them we would have beaten all the teams in our conference.

    I loved watching Happy days as a kid. Funny enough I had to watch it with French dubbing which is weird now.

    Dayton is playing as well. I am assuming we want them to win so they are still in play to get the AQ spot?

    Baylor had some great years as well. Cincy made the playoffs not that long ago. I think the bottom of the Big 12 is probably stronger than the ACC bottom ( Syracuse, Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke,...) It will all depend on how many teams the ACC loses. If its just the two the ACC will be fine, but if they lose more than 4 they could be in some trouble. However the ACC will be fine in the long run since it will add USF if it loses more than 4

    Temple and Memphis down to. Also doesn't help for the AAC perception that three of the top 4 teams in the standings were Conference USA adds. This is probably for a different thread but it wouldn't hurt for the AAC to perhaps look to add some teams. Teams that don't have Division 1 football like Dayton or VCU.

    These tournament games are tricky. Doesn't help that the games are played consecutive days in a mostly empty arena Tomorrow will not be easy.

    Wow you are right. Cant believe they see the Mountain West with 5 locked teams right now.

    San Diego State playing UNLV right now. I think we want UNLV to win this game since San Diego State is just like us just right out of the top 25 rankings.

    Great find. We will also need to keep a close look at what happens in the Mountain West since they have a bunch of bubble teams right now. I will be watching a lot of basketball tonight, which is crazy for me to say since my Final Fantasy 7 rebirth copy just arrived in the mail today. I am hoping that I wont touch that game for a while since that would mean we will be winning over the next few days and hopefully weeks. I still think win the next two and we are in.

    Yea, but for the price tag I am a bit underwhelmed. It seems more like what FAU and Tulane got versus Colorado state, Houston, and San Diego State. I will be happy to get one, and I don't want to whine too much, but since we are still in the preliminary design stage I just want to throw my honest opinion out there . The design of Akron stadium is one we should take a close look at since that type of design would imo look better, and would be easier to add capacity. And please don't get me wrong since I am still happy and pumped about the new stadium and its a huge positive step for the program.

    Don't want to whine too much since getting an OCS is a positive, but the design imo is kind of vanilla. I hope they spice It up a little bit. It looks so similar to Tulane and other group of five stadiums.

    Yea, the A Sun is one example where the higher seeded teams received home court advantage. Really sucks that we have no advantage compared to FAU. Would have been fun to have these extra home games. The Sundome would have been rocking.

    ECU up at the half by 5. Do we have a preference between ECU and Tulsa? In the second game we would want Memphis to lose? Or do we see Memphis as an opportunity to perhaps lock up an at large? I think i will be a nervous mess tomorrow

    Maybe true, but if that's the case than I don't believe Virginia Tech, NCST and Georgia tech make the cut either. Good for USF since I would love to be in the same conference as those teams. And by the way congrats to UCF on a good first year in the Big 12 . Wouldn't mind joining you guys in the Big 12 in the near future. I would be fine with either the Big 12 or ACC.

    Just glad Coachella is scheduled next month and not this month since I don't know what I would do.

    Its hard to assess where we are regarding current NCAAT brackets since many sites and talking heads at this moment count us as an AQ because we won the AAC regular season; all of course subject to change between now and Sunday. Would be interesting to see where we fall right now as an at large. But then again still so much basketball to be played between now and selection Sunday. i have cleared the rest of my week and haven't been this excited about USF athletics in a long time.

    There is a lot of talk about the ACC losing teams. But if i was the Big 12 I would be nervous as well. Kansas and Oklahoma State are probably in a better position vis a vie most ACC teams.

    So cool the Dickies arena in Forth Worth is where I went to my first Twice concert. I still have the light stick. I am hoping for quadruple overtime in this game
