First, leave it open at one end zone and reinvest in the rest of the seating areas, next leave the other end zone lower, so you can add to the second level of the grand stand side. Third, do not have the “mini” lower level bowl and build it like a traditional lower bowl. The way they chopped it around, makes it looks “lego” to me. This is just my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I will be happy just to get something. I just love stadium designs and want us to have a quality stadium with character. The second level overhang is a feature I love. It’s uncommon on small stadiums but it’s going to help with the noise and make everyone feel close to the field. I think it’s a great design. It’s going to be a unique and well respected stadium once completed. You guys are hiding from colorless renders.

Populous with 10K less seating couldn't come up with something similar for $320 million? Instead, we have an FIU, FAU, UCF and any highschool in Tampa skeletal steel support structure going in. Kelly assured it won't bounce like UCF because it will have preformed concrete seating base (like FSU) but it sure will look like it as you walk up, around and under it. Next they will be telling us we got a great deal on green chainlink fencing and we are going full-UCF on the inside with it. So it will feel like FSU's Doak as you are sitting but anywhere else it will look like FAU, FIU, UCF. I thought we waited to do it right and learn from their stadiums and not do the quick and dirty? That means a $266M stadium now costs roughly $425M. A project I was working in 2020 the suppliers were giving quotes on materials that were good for one day only. That’s how fast prices were rising. I also remember shipping containers being priced at $17,000 It’s also driving Home insurance rates up around the country because replacement costs are much higher now. I fully get that and I am sure others do too, what you are missing is that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to build the stadium at the new price for the same garbage people made fun of for years. There is absolutely no logical reason to believe that, it’s a downgrade that makes zero dollars for the conferences that already have teams playing off campus. It’s as simple as UCF had success with something and they built a stadium, let’s pretend that’s the only way and focus on the stadium part (ignoring everything else) because it’s easier. I believe a new football center is in the works. They have hired new coaches in both major men's sports. I'm sure there are other upgrades planned as well. you constantly complain about how we have been left behind and now that they are trying to do something about it you complain about that too. perhaps you should just go be a fan of ucf.
