Up until now I don’t think anyone has felt bad about not getting the a longer experience and trying to hold out, sometimes you just want to get it over with.

Reading through the early pages is certified cringe now. All the talk of how awful Youngblood and Knox are and Youngblood can't handle the step up in competition. Now Youngblood is a big driver for us throughout conference play. Whoopsies!

I just went back through this thread and the first 8 an half pages are comedy gold.

Not just the driver but the calming force on the court. The way everyone has fallen into and embraced their roles is exceptional and something you see in very few teams. Youngblood is the leader, Pryor is the energy, Miguel is the spark, Walker, Jr. is the fighter, Placer and Reid are the 1-2 punch, Stroud is the grinder, Knox is the wingman, and Hines is the role player.

Don't they have pills for that nowadays?

Making a call on a new coach after so few games is always a bad idea.  Sometimes you will be right, but it is pretty clear at this point that Coach Abdur-Rahim is capable and adaptable.  Just took a bit to get things to mesh and find the footing.

That’s ED also known as entitled dissent, of which many here also suffer. There is no cure for this ailment.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
