But seriously! I was hoping for 10 wins this season from the 1st year coach. Heck he only had 1 win during his 1st season at Kennesaw St. USF already has 8 wins! Something  changed for USF in general & I have been trying to figure this all out lol.

Obviously we got rid of VPAMK ..... 😉

Well, since my little rant, our USF Bulls have won 6 out of 7 with a 6 game winning streak.

Guess my criticism worked! Nice job Coach Abdur - Rahim and Men's Basketball. Go Bulls!!

you are a great motivator

He has turned things around, that being said it needs to continue during conference play. No reason at all this team should not win at minimum 15 games this year.

Agreed.

I know it's dumb to say but ever since that FSU win I wish we could go back and re play at least the central Michigan and Maine games. Our record would be even more outstanding.

Lol you said earlier you expected 12 wins. 15 would be amazing. Heck 10 wins would be amazing imo lol. Year 2 is going to be much better if things hold true to how his history has played out.

Well, I for one enjoy watching this team play more than I have in past years. We still need more inside players but overall I think Coach has done a great job with what he has and you can see the improvement since start of season. We finally have a team that can actually shoot FTs and is exciting to watch on offense.

I feel better about USF basketball than I have in past.

Absolutely. Imagine this offense with a true big?

We are at 8 wins now, 10 means we only win 2 the rest of the way. That would put us at 2-15. That would be a huge letdown. At this point he is exceeding my expectations. 12 wins would be respectable, but again that puts us at 4-11 down the stretch. Today we sit here at 8-4 to get to 15 wins we need to go 7-8. 15 may be pushing it. Not sure we can get there. But if we do it will be something to be celebrated.

I agree this team has been fun to watch. Need a real big. I also wish we would drive to the hoop more. IMO this team takes too many 3's. When they are off they hurt themselves. Reid also needs to shoot more. Kid is good.

ugh. let's go back to the 90's....

that's not how basketball is played anymore. you need someone that can run to the rim and protect the rim on defense.

traditional big men just clog the lane and stymie an offense.
