Interesting. Meaningless that I will agree with, but I never find the spring game and surrounding events boring

I just don't get into it.  I never watch NFL preseason football for the same reason.

I haven't been to a Spring game in years.  It is so incredibly boring and meaningless when it comes to the regular season.  I will check out a few of the plays on ESPN + however.

I never, ever equated the Spring game to anything in the regular season.  To me (when I wasn't working it), the event was just a great picnic and party with friends which just happened to have a football scrimmage served as a side dish.  I used to love the old days when they would have a spring multi-sports day with several events going on simultaneously on campus.  One particularly notable event occurred on my birthday and I attended with my brother and his wife (also USF alumuni).  There was free beer and Lupton's BBQ and my brother bragged about how generously he hosted me on my birthday.

For me defense....cause we know the offense was pretty decent last year and likely will be better this year.  Defense was at the bottom last year so if we see some improvement on that side it means more than just the offense scoring at will vs a bad defense.

If it's the defense then obviously CAG's offense is the worst ever.

If it's offense then obviously CAG sucks because he didn't hire coaches that can coach or recruit enough playmakers on defense.

So, I'm going with the trainers. Hopefully they have nothing to do today.

My 4 year old son has been counting down the days until this game. He loves USF Football and is excited about the snacks and free ice cream for season ticket members. It will be nice to finally be on campus and get to see the indoor practice facility. Hope to see many of you out there.

Yeah but it helps make the offseason seem a little less longer
