I posted this in the baseball thread, but I do believe it deserves its own. Losing has obviously become commonplace for us. We all recognize that. However, I think we may be looking at a unique national trifecta between the close of the 2021-22 basketball season and today. While we made significant improvement this season, the men’s hoops team last year finished last in the country in three-point percentage. Football, as has been well documented, was last nationally in total defense in 2022. Now, baseball is looking to make it a threesome of futility! BEFORE giving up 36 runs this weekend vs. Northeastern, our pitching staff was tied for 179th nationally in team ERA. When the stats are updated, gotta believe the three-game performance puts us well on our way to that magical spot we’re getting used to. But hang in there Bulls fans! Right?

It starts at the top.  It's not clear to me that winning is expected from leadership down to coaches down to players.

Billy Mohl is a pitching guy too. No excuse for his current staff and with all the momentum from a couple years ago not being able to get/develop arms. 

CJS, BG, gone. Mohl has got a couple months try and turn this around before his times up too. Been too long to keep going in this direction. That postseason run was fun but we can't hang our hat on that forever.

Usf is the worst d1 athletic program in the country if just looking at baseball, football, and basketball and it isn't even close.

36 runs given up in 3 games.  Not a huge baseball guy, but even I find that disturbing.
