Baseball is 90% mental, and the other half physical.

Thanks Yogi.

For the record, we went into the weekend series at No. 179 in the country in team ERA and came out on Sunday at No. 224.

FYI, there are 295 schools playing DI college baseball.

So we aren't last.

Glorious will be the day that USF makes its comeback.  It is brutally painful each day, week, month, year to only apply lipstick.

And one can choose to wallow in the "misery" until then ........ or not.

LOL.  Of course.  But when discussing the problems means to folks like you there is wallowing in the "misery" occuring, it tells us all how bad it's gotten.

Can't disagree too much with that but we have a difference of of opinion, shockingly, when it comes to  defining "discussing the problems". Just pointing how bad we suck in multiple sports is wallowing to me .....

That’s me, Mr. Wallower. Actually wasn’t really wallowing, just honestly pointing out a historic “opportunity” for our baseball program to join football and men’s basketball. OK, maybe wallowing, but is there some pending transition happening that I don’t see? Baseball continues to struggle. Men’s hoops is getting ready to lose it’s only real impact player, and football? Who the hell really knows? I’m the definition of Bulls diehard, so I’ll still be there through it all, but just give me some sign that there’s light at the end of this tunnel.

You might need to re-think how you wallow or complaint about wallowers...  I don't trust all dictionaries 😂, but this indicates there was no wallowing at all (unless you think people are "getting off" on the poor results.).

wal·low
/ˈwälō/

verb
  1. (chiefly of large mammals) roll about or lie relaxed in mud or water, especially to keep cool, avoid biting insects, or spread scent.
"watering places where buffalo liked to wallow"
  2. (of a person) indulge in an unrestrained way in (something that creates pleasurable sensation).
"I was wallowing in the luxury of the hotel"

And "Mr. Wallowers" come in two flavors:

  • Those that care enough and choose to discuss the issues
  • Those that disappear and disconnect from USF Athletics
  • Go Bulls! 1

What is worse the pitching or the football team's defense?
