Unacceptable performance by Billy and staff. Unacceptable performance by the players. How Brutcher strikes out looking with 2 men on in the bottom of the ninth, down by a run, is unacceptable. Didn't swing the bat once. That's mentality and it is almost 100% on the coaches.

CJS, BG, gone. Mohl has got a couple months try and turn this around before his times up too. Been too long to keep going in this direction. That postseason run was fun but we can't hang our hat on that forever.

I was going to let it go and chalk it up to the poster's frustration.   The pitch before he took strike 3 was terrible and should have been ball 4.   I think he just got froze by the fast ball on strike 3 looking for something else.  He also had an RBI single in the 8th and a deep fly to center earlier along with a BB.   He's been one of our best hitters for the past few years.

It may have morphed into "same old same old" ********, but I think the OP's intent was to point out the results with our top 3 sports, and it really didn't fit anywhere else.

For the record, we went into the weekend series at No. 179 in the country in team ERA and came out on Sunday at No. 224.

FYI, there are 295 schools playing DI college baseball.
