I think the idea is to start with a number of "seats" (maybe like 35000), which is small, but the actual CAPACITY will be bigger.  Lots of standing room areas, maybe a berm.  I think this is the right approach to start with.  As long as people can get in to the stadium and see the action.

Hope that's the case with a berm and maybe standing areas for maybe additional students you could get near 40k in the game.  Could be a loud stadium.

Isn't there a hotel on campus now?

And three directly across the street from that one.  So definitely some options for out of town vistors.

One built Raymond James Stadium and the Trop. Another has built two Super Bowl venues.

and soon to be the Yuengling hotel with beer taps in the wall.     Think about a game day. Ordering a Pub Chicken tender sub and drinking the draft from your hotel room, then going to the beer garden for a few, then start tailgating under the trees across the street from the OCS

They can do like those fancy tap houses do. Check in, here’s a wrist band, scan it whenever you want beer and pay by the oz.

I'm actually impressed we got those quality of companies bidding. Which one do you go with? The one that did all the local stadiums, the one that did Colorado State, or the one that's done a bunch of NFL stadiums? I almost say if you built the trop, you are automatically disqualified lol

Wasn't aware of this. Still think Outback stadium would be awesome. They paid 8 million a year for the bowl game, paying half that for an entire stadium feels like a win win.

Also love getting Grothe + BJ involved in the fundraising side of things
