It is funny to me that no one wants to pay taxes, but they do want roads, schools, police, fire dept., etc., etc. Oh well, back on topic.

I’m not saying we pay too little, too much, or just the right amount. No judgment at all in my point. I’m just saying people demand certain services and, in the same breath, don’t want to pay taxes. Doesn’t work that way.  Back to Bulls!

Seen people speculate on twitter the stadium renderings get released around the September 6th BOT meeting. Hate to get peoples hopes up for no reason BUT

Intent to award the contract is August 19th. Bulls block party is August 20th. Seems weird they would award the contract (which likely will be public knowledge with who they select) then wait a couple weeks before showing anything. Would line up beautifully to show off the renderings the day before the block party, and make the block party have some unreal energy.

I am not in the conscruction business so disregard my perspective, but August 19th seems awfully early to be awarding any kind of a stadium build to anyone.  Maybe awarding the drawing of the first rendering?
