Complaints? She was appointed in Aug21 and it is now Feb 22 let's see, oh yeah 6 months. The athletics moves were on MK that's why he gets paid what he does. People seem to like this woman and think she can do the job. She is an Alumnus-finally! Somebody that has a stake<vested interest> in the success of this school/programs/athletics besides a $$paycheck and a resume builder. They hired a PC-Woke Ca guy last time and that went dandy. He had to retire early and rest up from the tough job. Let's maintain some continuity for 3-5 years and see if it actually matters. She's got my Vote if I had one.

This is right on. You never know what you’re going to get with a new hire on this level (see the knucklehead we hired last time), but this will be as close as we get. I especially like that she already has the political connections as well. I think we’re going to need those with any infrastructure improvements in the coming years.

Can anyone explain this comment, posted in another presidential thread, to me?

"If you are putting in an application you aren’t getting the job, your people need to start talking to some of there people about general how is the search going stuff and if you don’t have people then you may as well filled out the webform 86 that was publicly available for no other reason than to leak to the public so that the hire was at least better than those people."

I can since I wrote it. Jobs like this have requirements to be made publicly available for application. No one that actually applies is a serious candidate for hire. The piece from the paper was put out right before we landed on who we are actually being hired. The only purpose of that was to show how great and qualified the actual hire was in comparison to what was available. No other qualified people will apply because getting publicly shot down is a bad look so you only apply when you have the job. When I saw the article I knew we had a pick.

Does the preacher guy and his family still preach in front of Cooper hall? I’m pretty sure that he isn’t going to like us implementing Rhea Law on campus.

We must overthrow Cooper Hall with the help of the preacher.  It is an affront to architecture and taste.

I mean sure it looks like a sad place of misery what you would be sent to in a Dostoevsky novel but I think it adds to the charm and I have fond memories of it.

She would have been a great hire about 15 years ago, but she's 72 years old. If she gets the job, you're going to have to do it all over again in three years.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
