Yep. That could be a big get. Couldn't figure out how to make it as fancy as Neb though.  Gotta up my copy/paste skills.

Last year's portal additions and their grade

  • Jarren Williams QB: F (a bust on many levels)
  • Timarcus Simpson CB: D (minimal playing time, but has 3 more years of eligibility to improve)
  • Demarcus Gregory WR: C+ (4th leading receiver on the team but showed some flashes)
  • Xander Yarberough DL: F (never made it to campus)
  • Jaren Mangham RB: A (what a year)
  • Yusuf Terry WR: C- (got some playing time but wasn't really a difference maker)
  • Jamari Stewart DL: incomplete, never played due to injury
  • Christian Williams CB: B (thought he looked good when he did play, should be a valuable piece next year)
  • Matthew Hill S: C+ (made a lot of mistakes but it was his first year at safety)
  • Will Jones S: incomplete, never played due to injury

Can't afford as many misses this year. Really hoping Stewart and Jones are as good as advertised as that could be 2 additional quality guys "added" to next years roster.

Will Jones injury and the wr injury(transfer from Tenn) were big hits for us this year before year even started

Fortin, To bad but very understandable. Appears Fortin and Williams (2 prior P5 starters) weren't good enough to play for USF-interesting. Marsh? Wouldn't surprise me if he joins the flow out. Hope they all land well and tear it up somewhere else. If we start to see a mass exodus might be worrisome. Just hope McC protects CJS paycheck next season.

I think Marsh will stay. He is the next man up and Timmy takes a lot of hits.

I agree, he just lost 2 older competitors to the portal. He has an advantage over the 2 incoming freshman. He just needs to keep working on his craft and anything can happen. He needs to at least give it another year.
