Theyll figure out how to stop it, or more likely modify it, if and when it has significant negative impact to the top 15-20 teams.   I don't think the NCAA is  concerned if recruiting consultants and HS coaches are miffed that 2 and 3 stars are getting strung along more than they used to.

There is zero evidence that it is hurting the top 15…indeed it is the P5 who is benefiting the most as the G5 is turning into the minor league.

Clyde Pinder, definitely.

As far as Cade transferring out, good luck to you. Anyone else thinks Marsh goes as well? I was high up on him in the beginning of the season, but that fell off when I saw him play later

As much as i hate to say it i think Marsh goes, i posted something on twitter saying i hope he stays and a relative/or advisor of his in some way said he never got chance to be starter and he hopes he leaves

I think we could lose a couple rbs as well

Im ok with Marsh. He made the same mistake that Timmy made, but I still think he has the best arm on the team.

I also think Marsh was screwed in his one start where they tried to make him run the ball instead of pass.

Someone explain to me how the portal affects high school kids.

Thought it was transfers in college.

College coaches looking to first fill immediate roster needs with portal travelers, so not being as quick to commit to bringing in as many high schoolers. Not sure how widespread of an impact on hs kids it is but can definitely see it affecting some of the the 2 and 3*'s out there.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
