The ref was on the headset to ESPN and they said they had another game about to start, wrap it up!  What a joke.  The announcers rationalize that that he was down and there should be time left and then they just end the game.  What a joke.

Definitely and there were enough bad coaching decisions all game to lose this one.  Defense played their heart out.

Let’s say that “interception” doesn’t happen and we line up in time. Scott yells to Timmy to spike it with 1 second to go.

Ref stops the game says there needs to be 3 seconds for a spike to happen and that the game is officially over. 
 

Bet your life that’s exactly what would’ve happened.

Don't feel robbed at all. We made a boneheaded play and got tackled with 9 seconds to go, and didn't throw it to the ref to put it back in play asap.  The review shouldn't have bought us a free shot that we didn't deserve

I feel robbed out of a play don't know if that would have won us the game but you at least want that chance that said Timmy did make a very bad decision to cut back inside

It’s because in high school they can live off talent alone. In college you have to think ahead and not just react.

I'll agree with that, clearly I am not the only one that doesn't know the rules in that situation.
