Only way we get into the ACC is because Miami and FSU have left. And if they've left then Clemson/Virginia/UNC are also likely leaving and that version of the ACC would be a lot like the current Big 12.

Unfortunately you are correct.  To get into another league you must influence them that USF is in their best interest.
