Which is a much better shot then we had at any point this season or at any point in the programs history. A 31-29 aac team is competing with the #2 in the entire nation 46-15 B12 team and had it tied late in the game to win a super regional having already won our conference championship and advanced in the NCAA tournament, if that’s losing I will take some of that every season, in every sport.

Exactly. What the loss did, besides giving the whiners a chance for their Chicken Little impressions, was remove the margin for error.

Baseball's a little different in tournaments like this because of the way line ups change from game to game, at at least one critical position. Case in point, NC State loses to #1 seed Arkansas the first game 21-2 and comes back the next day to win 6-5. You just never know ...

Interestingly the Super Region location seems to be predetermined.  Virginia and Dallas Baptist are playing their series at South Carolina's stadium.  How bad does that suck for the Gamecocks?

Yep....Apparently only specific sites were approved for the Regionals (Covid reasons) which caused Virginia and DBU to have to play outside their home stadiums.  Old Dominion was the top seed in the SC regional but couldn't host either.

Sucked for SC, and sucked for Florida to have to watch USF and South AL battle it out on their home field as well.  Yes, love pouring more salt on that Gator wound.  Hehe.
