I am hearing that a deal was done with CJL and the board of trustees did not approve the deal. Can someone make sure that a question is asked of the university tomorrow to confirm or deny this???

no I'm not and nobody knows if Leavitt was contacted but Mike Kelly. I don't care what your "source" told you.

My source told me xCJL couldn’t get past the academic committee.

My source told me his number has been blocked and he tried to borrow Taggart's cell phone to get through to Kelly

Worst case for Leavitt fans. More than likely the board got an entire list of names Kelly was talking to. They crossed off Leavitt. Just because his name was removed does not make it likely he was close to the job or would have beaten out Scott...which of course he did not.
