Being free too doesn’t mean you have to, who has ever heard of two people getting divorced and then remarried? The beauty of contracts is that if both parties are interested anything can be reworked but of course JK is too dumb to know that.

The old guard was so freaking upset at their own gaffe, they decided to deliver one more slap to Leavitt along with the $2.3 million, by saying "you can never apply".  :roflmao:  Dougie was such a bum.  And then Dougie proceeded to raid the treasury for himself on his way out.  Would be so nice if the new Prez and Kelly could correct the previous administrations failures.  Sure would restore a lot of fans and interest.

He said he absolutely loved playing for Leavitt and that he fully believed that even after all this time Leavitt would come back and do great here. It’s hard to imagine....but I’m starting to actually think about it.

Why not? The verbiage says “he can’t apply”...it doesn’t say “he can’t accept an offer”.

All I know is that in hindsight, the day Leavitt left, he took the soul of the program with him.

We need to get some of the original guys back here in some capacity. Those original Bulls teams had that “it” factor. I like the fact that Grothe and QF are apparently expressing some interest. There was a buzz and excitement around the program that’s been missing for a LONG, LONG time.

I understand the “get new blood” mentality, but I also like the idea of injecting some excitement and pride back in the program from the guys that put us on the map.

If true, the USF administration is systematically oppressing CJL, where are my arts and sciences professors to fight back against this bigotry?
